The Adventures of F.L. Mingo

Frustrated being penned up in Mark Dean's back yard, I fled Missoula to travel the country and absorb some new atmospheres!

Week One

I can't believe it's already been a week since I left home! The rest of the flock was content to hang out in Deano's backyard and freeze their beaks off for another cold winter, but I had to get out of town for a while and head to warmer territories. Unfortunately these plastic wings don't work so the trip out will be slow... but hopefully I'll have a few great adventures along the way. In my first week I've see a lot of Montana... well, a lot of its bars as my pictures will show. I got stranded in Lewistown over the Super Bowl weekend, but with free food and entertainment I made the most of a rough situation. I had a bit too much beer though and passed out, only to wake up the next day at the geographical center of the state down by the pool. I don't recall what happened the night before but the townfolk all gave me dirty looks as they passed, so it probably wasn't good...... There was more drinking to be had in several other towns, but the pictures of those stops are a bit to graphic to post on this blog. Rumor has it that a Google Image Search with the terms "Flamingo" "Hardcore Action" and "Rubber Duck" just might turn up some photos of those fuzzy memories, but my neck is getting sore pecking at the keyboard, so you'll have to check it out yourself. I got to Wyoming today, but posing for a photo op would mean standing still and tolerating some of the most offensive natural smells any state has to offer, so no photos yet. More photos of my adventures to come later!
